Description
Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) has an OBGYN Generalist opportunity with NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem. Harlem Hospital is located on 135^th Street in Manhattan and has been certified as a Baby-Friendly hospital by the World Health Organization. The OBGYN service has a 24-hour pain management service, with five birthing suites and a 17-bed inpatient unit. Harlem Hospital features a da Vinci Robot and a full GYN service, which includes minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, urogynecology, an active robotic surgical service, and a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. On average, the OBGYN service has 800 live births annually. The hospital maintains an academic affiliation with Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons.

Opportunity Details:
- General OBGYN inpatient and outpatient evaluation and management.
- Ambulatory clinic coverage.
- Inpatient Gyn/ED consultation.
- Labor & Delivery coverage.
- Supervise the care given to patients by the Advanced Practice Providers.
- Adequate surgical skills required to cover inpatient services.
- Provide night, weekend and holiday coverage as assigned.
- Applicants should be knowledgeable of best practices in OBGYN and have mature communication and interpersonal skills.
- Participates in Departmental performance improvement activities.
- Night and weekend call required and will be compensated above salary.

Qualifications
- Board Certified or Eligible in General Obstetrics & Gynecology
Wages and Benefits include:
Annual Base Salary: $279,000* (board eligible); $289,000* (board certified) based on 40-hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.
The annual total value of compensation package is estimated at $412,600** (board eligible) and $423,600** (board certified), which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors as set forth below:
- Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $67,600***.
- Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous year’s average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.
- 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits):
- Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
- After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
- Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) Reimbursement.
