Description

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY), a tax-exempt organization affiliated with NYC Health + Hospitals, is adding a Talent Acquisition Support Specialist.  PAGNY is one of the largest physician groups in New York State and directly employs nearly 4,000 physicians and allied health professionals who serve seven of New York City’s public hospitals, numerous public health community-based practices, and the city’s Correctional Health Service.

Opportunity Details:

  • Sourcing, identifying, and developing candidates to feed the recruitment pipeline
  • Utilize sourcing tools and platforms to create and implement appropriate sourcing strategies for each unique position
  • Immediately responsible for fielding all potential candidates
  • Coordinates all sourcing campaigns including job fairs, open houses, and email campaigns
  • Engage with Residency/Fellowship programs to build individual and institutional relationships
  • Establish and maintain sound relationships with medical training program staff and students/residents who specialize in all training programs
  • Travels to recruitment/networking events
  • Accountable for increasing recruitment by supporting enterprise-wide campaigns and relationship-building efforts
  • Manages branding and context for all sourcing sites, social sites, publications, and emails
  • Constantly maintains recruitment databases and other applicant tracking systems
  • Works to promote PAGNY’s brand to prospective physicians, clinicians and Dentists to generate awareness of our organization's practice model
  • Required to be in the office in Manhattan 2 days a week

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in marketing, business, or other health-related fields
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in sourcing, recruiting, or in Human Resources, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) required
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain high standards despite pressing deadlines
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work well under pressure, adapt to unexpected events, prioritize and multi-task in a deadline driven environment
  • Must be able to prioritize a variety of time sensitive tasks
  • Consistently display the highest degree of integrity, professionalism, diplomacy and discretion
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to organize and prioritize events while maintaining relationships with residency programs and their residents, as well as maintain close relationships with practicing physician leads
