Recognizing Your Dedication to Serving New Yorkers and to Excellence on Doctors' Day

Today we commemorate Doctors' Day against the backdrop of the COVID-19 pandemic. Now more than ever, we celebrate you and thank you for all the work you do. PAGNY Physicians are world-class and you prove that with every appointment, every procedure, and every shift. In these difficult and frightening times, your compassion and devotion to your patients and to those who seek your help is an inspiration. You are mission-driven. You chose New York City Health+Hospitals’ public hospitals, clinics and Correctional Health out of a commitment to New Yorkers of every age, race, creed and class. We know they rely on you and so do we.

Each Doctors Day has featured a token of thanks for the care our physicians provide every day to the communities you serve. During the first recorded Doctors' Day, cards were mailed to physicians. Today, since we know you are always in motion, we will be distributing battery packs to charge your phone or other electronics on the go.

Meanwhile, we are delighted to be investing in our physicians by offering an online Grand Round with free CME credit taking place later today in honor of Doctors Day. We are also pleased to be highlighting the tremendous work you do all year long over our social media channels.
