Two PAGNY “Top Docs” Named Chiefs of Services at NYC Health + Hospitals/Coney Island

Dr. Timothy S. Hall has been appointed the Chairperson of the Department of Surgery at NYC Health + Hospitals/Coney Island. Dr. Hall is board-certified in Thoracic Surgery and Critical Care. He has the honor of being named to Castle Connolly’s “Top Docs” in America. Dr. Hall completed his undergraduate degree at Franklin and Marshall College, and obtained his medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine. He has held fellowships at both The Johns Hopkins Hospital and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Dr. Hall is a published author and requested lecturer. Prior to his appointment, Dr. Hall was the Chairman of the Department of Surgery at Stamford Hospital.

Dr. Kenneth H. Hupart has been appointed the Chairperson of the Department of Medicine at NYC Health + Hospitals/Coney Island. Dr. Hupart is a diplomate of both the American Board of Internal Medicine and the National Board of Medical Examiners and has been named to Castle Connolly’s “Top Docs” in America. Dr. Hupart completed his undergraduate degree at Columbia University and Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education. He received his medical degree from SUNY Stony Brook, and is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians. Dr. Hupart is a published author and has held numerous teaching positons. Prior to his appointment, Dr. Hupart was the Chief of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism at Nassau University Medical Center.
