Read about Dr. Abadi’s childhood interest in medicine, her choice to specialize in pathology, and why she joined PAGNY:
“My father was an Internal Medicine Professor in Caracas, Venezuela, whose passion for science and devotion to his patients inspired me from an early age to follow in his footsteps. Since I was a little girl, I was always curious and fascinated by the mysteries of the human body. Once in medical school, my love for anatomy, histology and pathophysiology led me to choose pathology as my specialty. I am extremely fortunate to work every day alongside an incredible team of healthcare professionals that strive to provide the best care to our patients.”
Dr. Abadi exemplifies PAGNY’s mission to deliver exceptional patient-centered care to vulnerable communities in New York City. Thank you, Dr. Abadi, for your 25 years of service and the expertise you demonstrate every day!
